Inspiration of a Typewriter

A ribbon of ink,
A typebar of words,
A shift, a tab, a strike.
When the key was pressed,
Like a moment passed,
There is no chance for regret.

A typewriter is like life,
Despite limited time & parts, it punches out out endless possibilities.
Chik-chik-cha, chik-chik-cha, chik-chik-cha.
Its crispy sound was sweet and fading like the good old days,
Leaving marks of smiles inside my heart ready to last for a lifetime.
